In Tempe, landscape supply yards usually price bulk material by the cubic yard and charge a delivery fee by distance, so measure the area first: one cubic yard of mulch covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep. Across Arizona, small-engine repair shops get backed up in early spring, so service mowers over the winter. Many yards and feed stores close earlier on weekends.
